Law in a Flash Flash Cards used to be an independent concern around 1998.  They were forced out of business by the 720 Series™ Flash Cards and they sold to Emanuel when it was still an independent business which in turn Emanuel was sold to Aspen.  We like this product and they have tried to fix some glaring problems with the product. But above all they do have nice looking boxes and they do cost a fortune.

Law in a Flash Flash Cards ask leading questions that are easy to answer mainly because the tip off to the answer is in both the title of the card as well as the interrogatory of the question. They do not have enough base definition cards that ensure you know the fundamental law from memory. They do not have any exam writing definitions.  They do not have any issue spotting cards. They have 40-50% less cards than the leading competitor.

While the content of these cards rates an overall excellent score the fundamental nature of the cards will lead you to believe that you actually know something when in fact you don’t.  We felt really great when we finished the 6 sets we used for evaluation. We got a large number of the questions right. When we used the 720 Series™ Flash Cards we didn’t feel as smart and we really figured out that we had better go back and really learn the law like we should have.

For first year students they have titles for torts, contracts, criminal law, civil procedure, constitutional law and real property.
